Auckland 1/2 Marathon TrainingWalks
There are still spaces available for the 1/4 marathon & 5km run/walk. If you haven’t entered the full or 1/2 marathon then you should definitely enter one of these! Running Meet Up
I am organising a 50 minute training run if anyone is keen on Sunday 21st August. We are meeting at the new Wynyard Quarter in town & we will run from there around the marina, Ponsonby and back.
Meet at Wynyard Quarter at 7.25am to laeave at 7.30am. Please email me if you plan to come sally@fitnessfix.co.nz
Walking Meet Up
I will be adding in some longer Saturday walks for those training to do the 1/2 marathon walk. These walks will be incorporated into the Saturday walking group and will cover much of the course. See the timetable below…
Saturday 27th August - Walk from town, to include the last part of the walk from the harbour bridge to Victoria Park. Meet at Jellicoe St, by the fish market 7.25am
Saturday 24th September – Extended Mairangi Bay Walk – 2hours
Saturday 1st October - Walk from Devonport on the 1/2 marathon course route (100 minutes)
Saturday 8th October - Walk from Devonport on the 1/2 marathon course route (120 minutes)
